Community Presence

At Little Pig Consulting, we believe in the power of community and are on a mission to give back. We see this as not just our responsibility, but our privilege. We're not just building a business—we're building a better Toowoomba.

Protea Place

Emma started working as the events coordinator with Protea Place in 2022. Her first event was the Protea Place Gala Ball where she worked alongside the committee. Emma will be continuing as the Events Coordinator for Protea Place in 2023 and we look forward to sharing these exciting events with you all.

Protea Place Inc. is a local Toowoomba charity, established in late 2018 to assist vulnerable women in the region. Founder and CEO, Amanda Dalton, created the initiative based on over 20 years of experience in the social services sector after identifying significant gaps and the need to provide support services specific to women. The organisation was formed by a proactive group of local women who were passionate about creating tangible change for women in need.  AT Protea Place, No one will be left on the doorstep.

Protea Place currently receives no government funding and is made possible by community financial donations, sponsorship, community grants and active fundraising.

Please consider donating to this organisation that continues to help our local women in need.

MOMENTUM MENTAL HEALTH

Momentum Mental Health

The team at Little Pig Consulting supported Momentum Mental Health in 2022 by assisting with their programs such as their monthly Open House BBQ, filming events and attending workshops. We can't wait to continue our partnership with Momentum in 2023.

Momentum Mental Health was established in 1996 under the name of Toowoomba Clubhouse. Over the years, the service has evolved and is now leading the way in contemporary mental health and well-being programs.

The coaching style utilised by Momentum Mental Health uses a strength-based approach to help you build capacity, confidence and get you back in the driver’s seat of your own well-being and recovery. The team at Momentum are passionate about recovery and well-being. They believe in the work that they do and the people they support. They make access to the service simple so you can start reaching your goals and improving your well-being.

Momentum Mental Health has partnered with The Royal Melbourne Hospital to introduce 5 Ways to Wellbeing in our work and community.

The '5 Ways to Wellbeing’ introduces you to five simple and effective ways to improve your psychological and emotional health that are based on extensive international research.

Gather & Graze

In 2022, we teamed up with the gentlemen at Gather & Graze as one of their Production Partners. In this role, we were their official videographers for the lead-up to the event and filmed the evening in all its shining glory. The recipient of the fundraising from Gather & Graze in 2022 was Hope Horizons.

Hope Horizons is a Cancer Wellness Centre located in Toowoomba.
Born from a desire to see free allied health services provided for those living with cancer in the region, the volunteer-run organisation has now provided services to over 700 clients.

Their services are provided with no out-of-pocket expense to their clients, with the gap costs covered wholly by their fundraising efforts.

HOPE FOR OUR CHILDREN

Hope for Our Children

In 2022, Clayton took on a voluntary board position at Hope For Our Children. As well as being on the board, Emma and Clayton have carried out workshops with the board, free of charge.

Hope for our Children is a group of people that were impacted by their own journeys with children at risk or removed from their first home.  They saw that not enough is being done to meet to needs of children living away from home and believe that more can be done.

Hope for Our Children provides backpacks for children facing a transition or removal.

Backpacks replace the garbage bags children have been seen dragging around. Hope for Our Children want to stop the frequent placement changes in foster care, but while they work on that, they're starting with the bag. Hope for Our Children would love any donations you have.

Please reach out to them via the website to find out what donations will make a difference to a child's life.
